Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website, requesting service, scheduling an appointment, or using our computer repair and IT support services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Services Provided
JohnFixesIT provides services including computer repair, Mac and PC repair, virus and malware removal, data recovery, hardware installation, software troubleshooting, operating system repair, network and Wi-Fi support, remote support, on-site support, and business IT support.
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
Estimates and Pricing
Any estimate provided before diagnostic review is an estimate only. Actual pricing may vary depending on device condition, repair complexity, parts availability, and additional issues discovered during service.
Work requiring additional charges beyond the original estimate will be communicated to the customer whenever reasonably possible.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may require deposits for special-order parts, large projects, business services, or data recovery services.
Failure to pay may result in withholding of repaired devices until payment is received.
Data Backup Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for maintaining backups of their data. Before any repair, diagnostic, software installation, operating system repair, virus removal, or hardware replacement, customers should back up important files.
JohnFixesIT is not responsible for data loss, corrupted files, lost software licenses, lost passwords, or damage caused by pre-existing hardware or software failures.
Data Recovery Disclaimer
Data recovery services are performed on a best-effort basis. No guarantee is made that data can be recovered, that all files can be recovered, that recovered data will be complete, or that storage devices will remain functional.
Fees may apply even when data recovery is unsuccessful if diagnostic or recovery work has been performed.
Limited Warranty
Unless otherwise stated, repair services include a limited 90-day workmanship warranty covering the specific repair performed.
The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, power surges, malware infections after service, customer misuse, third-party modifications, or new and unrelated hardware failures.
Warranty coverage is limited to the original repair service performed.
Third-Party Software and Hardware
JohnFixesIT is not responsible for the performance, reliability, security, or compatibility of third-party software, hardware, or services. Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Appointment Cancellations
Customers should provide reasonable notice when canceling appointments. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future service.
Remote Support Services
Remote support requires customer authorization. Customers understand that remote support may involve temporary access to their device for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
Remote support may be limited by internet connectivity, device configuration, software restrictions, and security settings.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JohnFixesIT shall not be liable for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of productivity, indirect damages, consequential damages, or incidental damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to provide accurate information, maintain backups, disclose known device issues, remove illegal content from devices, and maintain ownership or authorization for devices submitted for service.
Abandoned Devices
Devices left unclaimed for more than 60 days after service completion may be considered abandoned, subject to applicable law.
JohnFixesIT reserves the right to dispose of or recycle abandoned devices after reasonable efforts to contact the customer.
Website Use
Users may not attempt unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with website functionality, upload malicious software, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, branding, graphics, text, and design elements remain the property of JohnFixesIT unless otherwise stated.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective when posted on this page.
Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
